Mayor of Fingal, Mary McCamley presented the award to Alan Hickey and Sean Murray and commented on the ‘extraordinary entrepreneurial talent in the competition’ this year. The competition was assessed and judged by a panel of individuals which was chaired by the founder of One4All vouchers, Michael Dawson. There was a total of ten businesses competing for the top prize. Each individual chosen to represent their business answered a number of demanding questions from the judges and each application was scrutinized before the judges made their final decisions, in which they chose WeBringg as the ultimate winners.
Two contestants were chosen for a joint runner-up position, DropChef and BusterBox who both received a cash prize of €1,500 in which to invest into their businesses in order to grow further. The calibre of the competition was very difficult and each application was judged laboriously throughout the competition.
WeBringg was previously announced as winner of The Best Start-Up Business at the Fingal IBYE Local Awards with Enterprise Ireland and will be attending the final awards in April of 2018 in which the National winner will be announced throughout Ireland. The future is very bright for WeBringg as they await the results for both competitions in the Spring of this year.
